Rounds Down Range
These photos are from some time back but since I'm well over due for my blog I figured I'd make a post. Before purchasing my new truck I added a few new items to the gun collection. To get a proper break in my cousin and I took a few of our friends out to the family farm for a day of target shooting.
I also used this time to hone in on my photography.
Catching a good mid-air case ejection is about as addicting as connecting with a steel target from 100 yards out.
Of course in an effort to recycle brass, not every round can be caught on camera.
But that's nothing a pump action 12 gauge cant fix.
My buddy Zach handled himself well for it being his first (or second I cant remember which) time out. He helped cycle some fresh brass through my new DDM4 V11 LW.
Then Zach tried his hand at the 5DMK3 to snap this shot of me on the DDM4. Unfortunately my left eye/handedness prevented a proper view of the rifle on the lit side.
The shade side didn't look as pretty but I have to hand it to Zach for snapping a solid case ejection shot of his own.
All in all a good day on the farm.
