New Truck | New Adventure

Well its been a long winter and I was tired of freezing my butt in the Jeep.  I do get access to a lot of trucks from work but I personally need 24/7 access to a truck.  From mountain biking to hunting, hauling motorcycles, signs for my dad, whatever it may be it seems I'm in constant need of a vehicle that can carry some junk and get through the backwoods of the farm on any given weekend.  So I finally pulled the trigger on this 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro.  Access cab, inferno, and of course a 6-speed manual.

So to help me break in the new rig my buddy Brad lead me out to this sweet little spot in his modified TX Pro Tacoma.

Our trucks are really similar but he has me beat with a little extra ground clearance and 33" BFG AT's to my 31 inchers.

Not to mention his massive All-Pro front bumper.  They also offer a slightly slimmer version in aluminum.  I might end up with some fresh back metal on the orange truck come summer, we'll see.

For being bone stock I couldn't be happier.  Great looks, great functionality, and fun to drive, especially with that 6-speed.

First things first I'll need to get a few essentials for it.  Receiver hitch, kinetic recovery rope, fire extinguisher (can never be too safe), and a CB radio setup.

And before all that I at least need to finish breaking the motor (still under 1000 mile mark).  So for the time being I'll leave the bushwhacking to Brad.
