Rebuilt Scrambler

I recently had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with the lovely Aubrey Bechler and my newly rebuilt Triumph Scrambler.

This is a never ending project for me but I'm really happy with the way it's coming along.

The most substantial change I made was the seat.  Which is now a British Customs Slammer with an integrated tail light.  I also eliminated the rear fender, relocated the plate, and relocated some new turn signals.

I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish of this seat.  I really love the way it helps the Arrow exhaust pop.

New handlebars were the next big improvement.

Renthal Low bars with Oury grips and a CRG clip on mirror.   Plus matching turn signals up front.

All of these upgrades came as a result of a flat rear tire.  So the Scrambler is now sitting on a new set of Metzler Tourance dual purpose tires.  They don't dig through the dirt as well as the knobbier tires that were on there but they improve cornering performance dramatically.

The simplicity of this bike is what always draws me in every time.  Think Steve McQueen would approve?
