Visit to Ventura

Living life as a photographer or cinematographer has us traveling nearly non-stop.  So when one of my closest friends Derek needed a lift to his home in Ventura, Motohaus stepped in to make a day of it.

We started our day with a solid breakfast from a local spot.

Banana Bread French Toast, enough said.

And Benji friendly.

Awesome vibes to start the day.

We opted for the scenic route to Ventura, stopping off at Dume Point.

Philip and I have become mountain people so it's always great to checkout new ocean views.

Derek is a solid guide.

He seems to always know where the surfers will be hiding.

Always down for a Saturday afternoon hike.  Too bad this one wasn't Benji friendly.

It's Derek's way of showing his appreciation by showing us a little something new.

We pressed on just a little and found a beach for Benji to play on.

West coast life, no need to rush.

We eventually made it to Ventura.

No better place.

We'll be back soon, next time out in the water.
