Honeymoon
We had an amazing time at our wedding.
The morning after we helped out where we could, then set off for the airport.
But at the airport our flight was delayed repeatedly.
Which lead us to spend the night in Detroit.
Where we promptly ordered a pizza from our hotel room.
The Aloft in the David Whitney building on Woodward was a great place to stay.
It also happens to be located just up the street from where we live now.
We explored our new neighborhood while waiting for our next flight.
After a blur of airport travel we finally arrived in Paris.
Where we got settled in our Airbnb.
Then set off to explore again.
We followed cafes to landmarks.
This one didn't take long to find.
We hiked for miles to find a shop we'd been waiting months to see.
Big Stuffed.
Where we found a new friend.
We walked the city mile after mile.
Keeping our eyes open to the sights that unfolded.
Thankfully Paris is as full of delicious food as it is beautiful scenery.
Interestingly our favorite spots were Italian.
It didn't take long to establish our local bar.
Even in Paris I opt for a local brew on draft.
We only had a few days to get acquainted before setting off again.
This time we took a train.
And arrived in London.
Where we explored some gardens.
And some palace.
Hid from the rain.
Found some more brews on tap.
Got a couples massage at a football stadium.
Took the tube.
And had a few more drinks.
After our quick stay in London we had one more stint back in Paris.
This time we stayed closer to historical sights.
A lot closer.
So we took it all in.
Heeding advice to look up.
The architecture didn't disappoint.
Neither did the greenery.
We did our best to soak up every minute of it.
From the buildings
To the bars.
Until we hopped a flight home.
