Detroit

We've been living on Woodward for about two months now.

Much of the surrounding buildings have either been renovated or are currently under construction.

Some prime retail locations are still vacant.  I'm sure that will change soon.

There's plenty of parking for the time being.

The Q-Line has been running constantly.

Making stops at all the important locations.

Pedal powered pubs also frequent the area.

Friendly vibes, everyones out to have a good time around here.

Even if it's just for a lunch break.

There's a wide mix of architecture.  This stature is 150 years old.

Even while dormant, the Wayne County Building still stands strong.

There's a lot happening on this street.

Once the Robinsons Building will soon be the Shinola Hotel.

The skyline's changing pretty quick.

While the Tiger's are wrapping up their season the Lions, Pistons, and Wings all have games on the horizon right downtown.

While the sporting events are lively, I prefer the post game bar scene.

For that there's always the staples like Grand Trunk.

Or newer renditions like the Apparatus Room.

Where ever you end up the phrase "it's lit" seems to thrive.

We always wrap up the night soaking it all in.

Ellie spots the drunken stumblers.

I do my best to name the cars.

It's a pretty great place to be.

Right here on Woodward in downtown Detroit.
