Summer Part 1: In Michigan

For this go around I'll be featuring a mix of phone and actual camera photos.  I'm kicking this post off with a new angle of a place I've been to numerous times...Founders.  Yes, there is actually a second level of Founders.

But to backtrack a few days.  The fun does not come without hard work and a few days of long hours paid off with a night behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo 4C.

After a night of blasting around in a sportscar that is not yet available in the US I had to get back to my roots.  So Dustin, Brad, and I took a day trip back to Bundy Hill to get our dirt fix.

Immediately after off-roading Dustin and I got cleaned up and made way to Grand Rapids.  Yes, this was the trip to Founders a few images back.

After a night in Grand Rapids I departed for my friend Eric's house in Canadian Lakes.  This is by far one of my all time favorite places to be.  Great company, beautiful home, and Michigan wilderness.

The greatest part of owning a motorcycle is sharing the experience with your best friends.  Plus, I get to hear it the way everyone else does.

After a night at Eric's I made my way further west to my Aunt and Uncle's cottage.  This is the place that comes to mind when I think of summer.  Again, great company and pure Michigan.

This was my first time ever getting up on anything behind a boat.  This will be happening again ASAP.

The Scrambler stayed cozy in my Uncle's shed for the night before making the 4.5 hour trip back home Sunday night.

I'll cap this one off with my only actual camera photo of this post.  Nothing says summer in America like 6.2 liters of blown V8 muscle.
